00 an hour 6 days ago 6 days ago 6 days ago Duties - Perform dental procedures such as fillings, extractions, root canals, and cleanings - Diagnose and treat oral diseases and conditions - Develop treatment plans for patients based on their oral health needs - Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and preventive care - Interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests to determine the extent of dental issues - Administer anesthetics to patients to minimize pain during procedures - Collaborate with dental assistants and hygienists to provide comprehensive dental care - Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical documentation and records Skills - Proficient in medical documentation and record keeping - Knowledge of aseptic technique and infection control protocols - Familiarity with HIPAA regulations for patient privacy and confidentiality - Strong understanding of medical terminology related to dentistry - Experience working with pediatric patients and providing age-appropriate dental care - Ability to take and interpret vital signs during dental procedures - Proficiency in dental software systems such as Eaglesoft or Dentrix Note:
