URGENT need for Primary Care coverage - tribal area
Arc Health PBC Arc Health PBC Sonoma, CA Sonoma, CA Temporary Locum tenens Contract Temporary Locum tenens Contract $150 - $160 an hour $150 - $160 an hour Arc Health is seeking a full-time Board-Certified MD/DO with Women's Health experience for a position in beautiful Wine Country in California who is available to start ASAP.
Work in collaboration with his/her assigned care team in providing quality primary care services to patients of all ages in accordance with accepted standards of medical practice.
Respond to medical/health problems presented by patients including history taking, diagnosis, investigation, treatment, and referrals as appropriate; maintaining confidentiality and impartiality; Promote health education in conjunction with other health professionals; inclusive of taking night and weekend telephone calls shared with other staff clinicians Practice overview 16-20 walk-in patients per day.
Monday - Friday, 8am-5pm Must be willing and capable to help urgent and emergent care 3-month assignment EHR is NextGen All travel and accommodations paid by Arc Health Must see pre and postpartum patients as well as urgent care patients (suturing, splinting, etc).
Qualifications:
ABFM or ABIM Current unrestricted license to practice in the state of California +2 years of experience Possession of a Valid DEA Must possess current BLS certificate.
Must show proof of completed COVID 19 vaccines, booster, and annual flu vaccine.
Ability to start as soon as credentialed Must be sensitive to the needs of the Native American Community, which includes their culture, traditions, and background.
